FINAL MAJOR PROJECT : REBELLATIO

Rebellatio, inspired by the punk subculture and feminine silhouettes over the last fifty years. Mixing the harsh look of punk and the contrasting style of femininity gives this collection a new twist. 

Punk has a lot of symbolic features that was clear to see in my research (see below) from prints to safety pins. This is the same with femininity, a lot has changed in terms of feminine silhouettes, but women are still trying to replicate some styles with the use of belts to extenuate the waist.

I have combined these contrasting styles to create my 6-outfit collection to make a statement about climate change. I want people to look at it and think about their actions and how we can stop climate change.
